Over the years, we have had many ideas for stories that would fit well inside the Bitmap World universe, but really had nothing to do with the Pixels or Smiley or any of the other characters we visit on a regular basis. I thought to do a special series of stories some day, but we didn’t want to be tied-in to a timeframe. We also didn’t want to relegate the stories to the Bonus section, since there may be mini-stories that we wanted to write.

Thankfully with our switch to the Webcomic/Wordpress publishing system, we have the ability to have multiple comics co-exist and have independent navigation. So, considering these strips will be directly in, or connected to, the Bitmap World universe, we are calling this new section “Bitmap World Stories.”

When we have a new comic up here, we will note it on the home page. However, feel free to subscribe to the feed and to peek in periodically here.
