4/20/09 Quick note/update –I hope to have the new strip up in the next couple of hours. My daughter’s pneumonia is not getting better so it may require a hospital stay. When it rains, it pours, right? Either way, I just need to do some touch-up, but as you can imagine other things have been pressing. We *will* have the strip up today…this afternoon sometime.

I had hoped to have this strip up this morning–like around 10. Here it is 4:00 CST and it’s justl going up. If you read the main strip, you’ll know that I was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday. Just a warning to all of you who have a nagging “chest cold” that lasts more than a week–it might be something else. Anyhow, I’m moving very slowly, but still okay. I’m happy with the way this strip turned out. Again, I hand-drew most of it and then pixelated. Took forever, but was worth it.
Last installment of the strip will be up this coming Monday. Then we hand the baton off to The Apple of Discord. ~Mirz
