Honestly, this is probably every family’s nightmare–losing your child at a public place. Thankfully, we have never had that happen. However, as a teen, my family was at a McDonald’s playland when my brother disappeared. Oh gosh, we were sick, looking around for him, fearing the worst. We were just about to call the police when we found him. He was only 2 and going on the big spiral slide. As a bunch of kids started taking over the slide, he was terrified and had hidden in one of the corners of the top “house” of the slide. To this day, I still get nervous thinking of how scary that day was.
Personally, we did have a situation a few years back at Sea World when my grandmother, who has Alzheimers, wandered off. Not quite as terrifying as a small child missing, but still worrisome enough. Thankfully, she didn’t wander far and we found her after a few minutes.
Our internet is back up! Yay! To celebrate and thank everyone for their understanding, we did a bonus comic today. So, be sure to click “Next.”
