337 - Getting Ready

There is some kind of paradox…I don’t know what it is, but if you know the official name, please post it. I swear to goodness, every time we get ready to go somewhere, we end up leaving late and thus, getting to our destination late. And sometimes the earlier we start, the later we get out the door. Thing is, the majority of the time I plan and try to get things together early, and STILL it doesn’t seem to work out. I know people must think it’s because of our family size, but we had this problem when we had just 2 kids. It’s amazing. Oh, and the disappearing shoe. How is it that you can have a shoe and then, literally, 10 minutes later it is gone. And not just gone, but disappeared. I cannot count how many times we are about to leave and one child’s shoe mysteriously wanders off (so to speak).

Now, I will note that we have never found a child’s shoe filled with mashed potatoes. However, we have found them filled with legos…crumpled up paper…cat food…and a whole container of salt.
