336 - Chatting with Gramma

No big funnies in this one…went for a more cute “Mike” comic. Though, honestly, this is still more slice-of-life for us. Whenever a relative we see only a couple of times a year comes by, the youngest of our brood is usually very nervous and shy. However, by the end of the visit, the child is usually very open and interactive–you wouldn’t believe it was the same kid!

As an aside, I really wanted to do this strip and show Dott’s mom having to sleep on the couch. It always seems that sitcoms houses have more than enough space in their house and there is always a guest room for visitors. In our house, we don’t have an extra space and visitors usually bunk out on the couch, or one of the kids is temporarily displaced and the relative take their bed. With how beat-up the couch in the office is, Gramma is probably better off on the couch!
