300 - Antique Shop
July 25, 2009

The antique store took me For. Ever. I wanted it to have some authentic pieces. I did use a few existing pieces of pixel art, but a good deal of it I had to do on my own. I am most proud of my tin signs on the wall! There were a few other things I wanted to do and left out. Not because I couldn’t do them, but I had no time. So, they will be projects for a later strip.
The shopkeeper is pretty creepy. You can’t see it, but he has a withered hand.
Has anyone guess that this storyline is actually a parody of a recent piece of pop culture. I won’t say what, but you can go on the forums and post your guess. I will be revealing the answer at the end of this storyline, which should wrap up in issue 305.
Of course, the other new is THIS IS STRIP 300!!! Yay! 2 1/2 years later, we’re going strong. Thanks to all our fans. We love you guys.
