298 - Time to Relax

Though this storyline has been planned for a while, the beginning panel was inspired just a day or so ago. Our daughter, Becca, got a stuffed animal from her sister. As is typical in our house, she lost it right away. She came in, asking if we knew where it was. We told her not to worry, it would turn up. She then proceeded to walk through every room in the house, calling the animal’s name. Now, this child is old enough to know that stuffed animals do not come when called, but that didn’t stop her. Perhaps she had another plan, though. Everyone got so tired of her yelling through the house, they all went and hunted around for the stuffed dog and finally found it.

Only 2 strips away from 300! This milestone really snuck up on us. Not sure what we’re going to do to celebrate. Have to think about that…
